Here's what some of our families have to say about Kindermusik classes!
"I started taking my 3rd son to the Kindermusik Village classes with the thought that it would be something for just him and I to do together without his older siblings. He was 4 months old at the time and I hadn't been to Kindermusik before so didn't know what to expect.
In the early days he would just make it through the class before it was nap time again. By the end of the first 8 weeks he was much more alert and started to obviously enjoy watching the other kids and adults around him and recognised the music each time aswell.
Now at 9 months old he has grown so much and what started out as just being one on one bonding session for the two of us, has become such a great deal of enjoyment for him to play with instruments, be around the other children, dancing with me, and he even joins in the singing! His eyes light up when we play the cd's at home and he really enjoys music and the interaction that goes with it."

"My son participated in the Kindermusik program Our Time in 2006. During the course of the program I saw dramatic changes to his development. In the beginning he was very shy and not very confident to be involved in the activities. As the weeks progressed, his social skills really developed. Kylie provided a safe learning environment in which the children's confidence and self-esteem was nurtured.
Kylie had a fantastic rapport with all the students. They were motivated by a variety of interesting learning activities which held their attention and promoted the opportunity for them to develop at their own pace.
I found the program's interactive nature provided tools for development in all aspects of my son's life. Kindermusik enhanced:
- problem solving and reasoning skills
- listening skills
- confidence and self-esteem
- co-ordination skills
- social skills
- imagination and creativity.
The class and the support materials provided me with ideas for activities that I could use at home to assist my child's development in a meaningful environment.
I highly recommend this fabulous program. It is extrememly enjoyable and worthwhile. It is professionally run by wonderful early chilhood educators.

My 18 month old daughter and I have nearly completed our second semester of Kindermusik "Village" and am looking foward to moving up to the "Our Time" program. Full compliments go to our wonderful music teacher Jill for providing us with such a fantastic musical experience so far and for her professional but personal approach.
On telling people that my daughter attends Kindermusik classes I often get the impression that they think I am pressuring my child at a young age to be musically inclined which couldn't be further from the truth. I am quick to explain that I don't have a musical bone in my body nor can I sing but the Kindermusik program offers both parent and child so much more than just music...from baby massage to sign language or improving self-esteem to learning new social skills. The benefits are endless!
Each class gives my daughter and I the opportunity to spend quality time together whilst intereacting with others alike in a fun and educational environment. My daughter began as a shy and somewhat reserved little girl to the one today who actively participates and thoroughly enjoys class activities. Best of all, with the at home materials supplied, we can take what we learn and loved at Kindermusik and bring it to life at home!
We love Kindermusik and highly recommend it and for those who are not already in the program you truly don't know what you and your child are missing out on!

I have two children attending Kindermusik classes. our 1 yr old in Village and our almost 4 yr old in Imagine That! We are currently
enjoying our second semester. Both my children love Kindermusik and thoroughly enjoy every session.
I enjoy it too, I love the interaction not just with my child, but with the whole group.
I can't recommend Kindermusik highly enough. The materials are superb and our teach, Jill, is fantastic. My husband was doubtful
as to what our baby would get out of the program and has been amazed to see the enthusiasm she has for the music and the
responsiveness displayed whenever we put the CD on or read the story.
The At Home materials are a fantastic way to extend the learning that takes place in the class. Each week, we enjoy the set
activity and our 4yr old class has immense fun making exciting things to take to share in class. He has especially enjoyed making
'snow boots' and his book of favourtie music activities.
Kindermusik is the best activity I have undertaken with our children and worth every cent!!!

Hayden, my four-year old son, looks forward with great anticipation to Kindermusik with Jill every Friday morning. His enthusiasm
for Kindermusik is one important reason that I am so delighted with the program and think that it is definitely one of the best investments
I can make for him and his brother, Caelan, who attends Kindermusik with Kylie.
Hayden has always enjoyed music, but at home I feel limited to the experiences I can offer him. As a teacher, I value music as being an essential component of a quality early childhood program and its vital role in developing creative
thinking and problem-solving skills. I also want Hayden to develop an open attitude toward a variety of opportunities.
Kindermusik offers great variety and such a well-thought out and integrated program that I know he would never benefit from anything like it in the home environment.
As an early childhood teacher, I can also say that it is very unlikely that he would experience anything like it in the school classroom.
I am very impressed with the program. It has all the elements of a quality early childhood music program; it is developmentally appropriate, pleasurable, varied,
individual and social and integrated (Isenberg & Jalongo, 1997). It is so integrated with other aspects of learning that it is essentially equivalent to a morning in an early childhood classroom; it complements
and reinforces Hayden's interests and the learning he is currently developing. I believe that this program has an important place in developing creative thinking, which enables the development of important
problem-solving skills which will be Hayden's greatest asset in the future.
Jill has such a lovely manner with the children. We can see that they just love her. Hayden certainly has great regard for her. I treasure this, as it contributes
to Hayden's love of learning and a positive outlook in life. As a parent, it allows me opportunities to join in with the activities and to spend that valuable time with Hayden. It also opens opportunities
for important interactions, an essential element in the development of emotional growth, not to mention language.
My husband, who was unsure of the value of the program to begin with, is now convinced (and he is a sceptical person!) and we are both over the moon with what the program offers and what we see it developing in our children.
